Final Photos

These are my Final photos that i plan to submit.

This is the first photo, implying being chased, using the double exposure effect creating a sense of two world colliding, the first layer of the man riding the motorcycle signifying being chased "the dreamer" in this dream, the penguins on the second layer represents the chaser.

The Second photo, the man in the photo on the right is the dreamer, looking as a third person or often called gods view, looking at his own childhood, signifying the often dreamt dream of seeing themselves in different time zone, out of body experience.

This photo signifies death, death is a cycle, you live and you die, like all of the nature, like seasons. the flowers with the hand signify giving, to always be thankful for life and death, have gratitude each day.

This photo aims to portray the dream falling, with a simply straight forward photo.

This photos aims to portray being naked in a dream which often means lack of confidence, or insecurity with their own bodies. which is unfortunately a very common dream. here the double exposure of flowers and the subject sleeping naked, hopes to tell that people should be proud of their own body, and should not be insecure about their body and size. 

This last photo, signify dreams of being trap, this again use of double exposure with a net photograph i took, a trap in a dream could often signify being trap by a job, a person, or an addiction, in this photo, an ash tray and a cup of wine is put at the back signify addiction, and hoping to stop people using these bad drugs that have no value.

The choice of using three black and white, and three colour, photographs was mainly due to the reason of trying to show dull dreams and vivid dreams, that it is up to the dreamer to go which way. It is yourself who is in control of your feelings and how you feel. Therefore using these two effects shows that.

Test Edit With Trial Photos

 These are some street snaps and home snaps, i took during the week applying the basic rules of thirds, golden ratio, lines, lighting, and decisive moment.

These Two at last are Test editing that i try to do with my own photos taken recently, i aim to create similar effect in my final result, however, suiting the theme of common dreams of people. both of them was just manipulate through adjusting the opacity of the photo while laying one photo over another.

These three were attempts to make use of the golden ratio, and rules of thirds, as well as the lines in the image to create a depth of field and to lead the audience to look at the image the same way.

 This is a series trying to capture the net for my falling dream photograph, i would basically put the subject that is sleeping on to the photo, through photoshop create a double exposure effect on to the pictures

This are some approach in achieving certain effects of foreground in focus and the whole back ground blurred, using a low f stop.

These three photos mainly aims to focus on the foreground in this case the leaf, and with a wide aperture making the background blurred, with a soft focus. Creating the dreamy effect i want to capture.
